Position Overview:

  • As an Assistant Manager, you will get an opportunity to lead all aspects of project/s designed and implemented under Ashiyana. You will be responsible to plan, budget, support, implement and document all aspects of project/s you are working on. You will also get an opportunity to work closely with the Director and Mentors. This is a full time position based in Mumbai and requires sensitive, passionate and committed candidates.


Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Oversee all project activities and be the main contact point for the project director and the field staff.
  • Prepare project proposals and raise funds.
  • Developing and executing project deliverables, lead project planning, budgeting and monitoring processes.
  • Scheduling meetings, charting agendas, keeping minutes and making other necessary arrangements
  • Coordinating with Ashiyana team members, stakeholders of the institute (like - Probation Officer, Superintendent, etc), external consultants, volunteers and funders for smooth implementation of activities under various projects.
  • Keeping and maintaining records – financial and administrative
  • Document projectwise monthly reports, newsletters and reports for funders on a regular basis.
  • Maintain regular contact with the Director and Mentors to ensure that the scope and the direction of the project aligns with Ashiyana’s Vision.

  • Age: 28 above
  • Educational qualification: Graduate/M.Com/MBA/MA


Minimum Experience
  • 3-5 years
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office - Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Language Skills:
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and English language skills.
  • Hindi, Marathi(optional)
  • The initial appointment will be offered for a period of one year with probation of six months. The appointment shall be renewed/ extended based on the performance and willingness of the employee and employer.
