Desired Job Profile
  • The Social Worker shall be part of the project team and will be responsible for implementation of projects activities, process with the individuals, families, and the community. S/he shall be responsible for grass root work
  • The candidate must be willing to work in the field within communities. Projects are mostly based on the Western Railway Line (Kindly consider this while applying)


Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Assist the project officer in planning and implementation of various activities of the project
  • Plan Conduct and Coordinate activities (awareness programs, sessions, Support group meetings etc) with community volunteers, children’s groups and family members on various topics related to health, education and vulnerability.
  • Conduct individual community visits and home visits for case management.
  • Support and guide staff during case interventions
  • Develop rapport and work closely with service delivery points in Health, and Education e.g. schools, Health Posts, Clinic, Police stations, Childline, home etc.
  • Time to time attend assigned meetings, programs and events organized by other organizations
  • Monthly reporting and documentation of various activities
  • Develop linkages with government hospitals ,NGOs, CBOs, networks for referral and networking
  • Enhance the capacity of Families, individuals and children to cope with crisis situation.


  • Candidate must compulsory hold a Masters Degree in Social work (full time course)


Minimum Experience
  • 2-3 year experience post MSW qualification is required
  • The candidate should possess at least 1-2 years relevant experience in the social & development sector Must
  • Spoken and written English skills required
